The little bird and Zara
The Story Of Kindness and Friendship
In a village nearby Kashmir lived a young girl called Zara. Zara had a best friend called Palwasha.
Both girls were the pride of their village, Zara known for her extreme kind nature and Palwasha for her wisdom, which came to her in such early years.
One day, Zara found a small, injured bird on the ground. She gently picked it up and, with Palwasha’s help, nursed it back to health over several weeks.
The bird, now strong, would fly from tree to tree near Zara’s house, always returning to her.
One day, Palwasha asked, “Why do you think the bird stays close even though it’s free to leave?”
Zara replied, “Perhaps it knows it’s loved here.”
Palwasha smiled, then shared, “Just like the bird, people remember those who treat them kindly, even when they no longer need their help. A kind heart and love really strengthen bonds in a deep way.
As the days went by, the bird finally took off and flew away. Zara felt a little down, but she was also happy that she had helped it get better and set it free. She learned that relationships work best when neither person expects anything in return and both people are giving.
This is a lesson in being nice to people without expecting anything in return.
Lesson of the Story: Kindness and Friendship
The endearing story of Zara and the small bird demonstrates how Kindness and Friendship can form relationships that go beyond demands and expectations. By assisting the injured bird without expecting anything in return, Zara discovers that true friendship is about the joy of giving, not what you get in return. Her acts of kindness and giving make her happy and demonstrate that true friendships are founded on love, kindness, and generosity.
