Well It’s a concrete fact that a fruitful marriage requires alot of time and effort to build and this effort needs to be constant in order to maintain that beautiful bond with your partner.
I’m sharing below 8.5 tips with my lovely readers which I believe are the main factors in keeping that spark ignited!
1 - Communication
Talking to each other and I can’t stress this enough is so IMPORTANT!
Communication is the backbone of a marriage and it should not be ignored. Talking about any concerns openly or dreams, thoughts, or even the events of the day – is absolutely crucial.
NEVER STOP TALKING!
2 - Date EACH-OTHER
Just because you’re now married it doesn’t mean the dating and flirting ends! Make Saturday nights your time only! Go on that date and reignite that flirting – with your spouses only obviously!
Or if you want to keep it simple, cook up your favorite meal or watch a movie together. Even better, send the kids to their grandma’s when you want to spend some quality time in the comfort of your own home.
3 - Always Appreciate
Always acknowledge the little things your partner does for you, praise them, appreciate them. Expressing gratitude strengthens your bond further.
4 - Who doesn't like surprises?
Always keep room for surprises! Like when your partner is off to work slip into their pocket a little love note or a simple snack that they love. These little Surprises keeps the excitement going.
5 - Being Intimate
Physical intimacy keeps alive the connection between you both – keep in mind that physical and emotional intimacy goes beyond the 3 letter word. Holding hands or that 20 second long hug or even just cuddling is all we need to help release oxytocin in our bodies.
Oxytocin is the love hormone which is essential to keep that bond stronger than ever.
6 - Get active together
Whether it’s going to the gym or just taking a stroll at the park or even cycling! DO THIS TOGETHER!

7 - Having some time to yourself
Having some ‘ME’ time is absolutely essential just as spending time together is.
Use this time to recharge and pamper yourself. Take a trip to the salon or go to your favorite coffee spot with a book.
8 - Laugher the Sweetest medicine
You have no idea how powerful laughter can be!
Laughing together not only strengthens your relationship but also keeps you looking young ‘wink wink ;)’
You’re exercising your whole facial muscles at the same time so why not practice this often by sharing those dad jokes and funny reels with your partner and laugh out loud together.
8.5 - Down memory lane
Go down memory lane every so often –
Talk about the build up to your wedding, your honeymoon! Talk about your commitment to each other.
This .5 tip is just a nudge to remind you that not everyday is perfect and not everyday one sees eye to eye – we all have down days but if you both work hard on making up for each others shortcomings and flaws rather than pointing them out I promise you your marriage will become the most harmonious ever!
