Once upon a time, there was a beautiful tree named Tara that resided in a quiet valley. No matter how hard the wind blew, she always did what it said. Tara was quite nice to all the birds, squirrels, and tourists who came to her for shade.
A powerful wind blew through the valley one day. The wind said in a harsh voice, “Why do you bend so easily?” “Hey, you look a little sick!”
Tara remarked softly, “You know, being strong doesn’t always mean you have to fight back.” You need to know when to let go and when to stay put.
The wind roared, “Let me show you real strength!” The wind shrieked and did everything it could to break Tara. The wind was quite powerful, but Tara bowed over and held on tight to her roots.
The old oak tree nearby, which usually loved to brag about how powerful it was, wouldn’t bend. The wind cut it apart and pulled it out of the ground.
Tara was still there after the storm, and her leaves were still moving. The valley could breathe again when the birds came back.
To be strong, you need to be humble, patient, and willing to change. Being able to adapt to new situations could save your life, while being stubborn and proud could ruin it.
