A lost cottage stood in the middle of a misty woodland, shrouded beneath silver vines and twisted trees. An old mirror that was tall, fancy, and cloudy from age hung inside. The villagers called it the Mirror of Forgotten Faces and told stories about its curse and power.A highly self-centered young woman named Elara once ventured into the woods. Elara was regarded as the most attractive woman in her village. Growing older was the only thing she feared. She was attracted to the idea of a mirror that revealed her actual beauty like a moth to a flame. The inside of the cottage was very quiet. Elara cleaned the mirror and stared into it. The mirror, on the other hand, presented her as a bitter, withered woman with cold, empty eyes.
“This can’t be me!” she screamed in fear. “This is not your face; this is the reflection of your soul,” the mirror said all of a sudden.
Elara left in a deep state of confusion and terror. Still, she continued to think about the photograph. It was the first time she had realized how selfish she was. She made fun of other people, did nothing to help those in need, and avoided having nice conversations. One day, Elara, a young lady with a strong sense of self, went into the woods. In her village, Elara was considered the most charming woman. Time and the inevitable aging process were her only worries. Like a moth drawn to a flame, she was enthralled with the idea of a mirror that revealed her true beauty. She eventually returned to the cottage. She looked into the mirror again, with fear this time. Elara left in a very scared and confused state. She kept thinking about the picture, though. That was the first time she knew how selfish she was. It was her habit to make fun of other people, not help those in need, and avoid nice talks. Elara, a young woman with a strong sense of who she is, went into the woods one day. Elara was thought to be the most beautiful woman in her town. Time and getting older were the only things that worried her. She was hooked on the idea of a mirror that showed how beautiful she really was, like a moth drawn to a flame. She finally went back to the house. She took another, scary look at herself in the mirror. It showed her as beautiful this time, not because of her flawless skin or shiny hair, but because of the love, courage, and kindness that came from her whole being. The mirror did its job and then broke up into small pieces. From then on, Elara taught them that actions, not faces, are the best way to show how the spirit is feeling. The point is that real beauty isn’t just about how you look.
